DERBY, UK – Cawarden, one of the UK’s leading specialist contractors, has successfully relocated to its brand-new office at Home Farm in Castle Donington. The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey, reflecting continued growth, investment in the future, and a commitment to providing an exceptional environment for both employees and clients.
As we approach our 40th year in business, I am delighted to announce our relocation to brand-new, purpose-built offices at our new Derbyshire base at Home Farm in Castle Donington. This move signifies not only our continued expansion but also our vision for the future as we look ahead to 2026.
WILLIAM CROOKS
MANAGING DIRECTOR – CAWARDEN
The new office features modern facilities, a sustainable heritage design, collaborative workspaces, and inclusive amenities such as a wellbeing and prayer room. Set within beautiful surroundings overlooking green spaces, the site also offers staff access to walking routes during breaks and welcomes office dogs. The relocation underscores Cawarden’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and creating a workplace that fosters collaboration and wellbeing.
The official move-in day is being celebrated today with a series of events for staff. Directors are welcoming office teams with Cawarden-branded welcome bags, breakfast from a local café, and branded cakes from a local cake maker. The celebrations are further lifted by a cheerful Jolly Jumper Day in aid of YMCA Derbyshire. Site teams are also being treated to breakfast before touring the new office and joining colleagues later for a celebratory curry from local favourite Anoki.
Cawarden will be sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content documenting the build and transition to the new office. A special mini-series produced by the Marketing Team will feature interviews, stories, and unseen clips that chart the journey from concept to completion. Launching in early 2026, the series will provide a unique inside look at this milestone moment in the company’s history. Audiences are encouraged to follow Cawarden on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to catch the mini-series as it unfolds.
The announcement follows a highly successful 2025, with standout achievements including:
- Hundreds of projects successfully delivered across the UK, all completed with safety and quality at the forefront. These projects have drawn on the expertise of Cawarden’s specialist teams, covering services delivered either as integrated “destruction to construction” solutions or as standalone services – including Enabling & Demolition, Land Remediation & Earthworks, and Civils & Groundworks.
- Ongoing commitment to social value, demonstrated through community initiatives and sponsorships.
- Recognition through prestigious British Demolition Awards, winning Health and Safety Innovation of the Year 2025.
- An International Green Apple Award, presented at the Houses of Parliament in London, in recognition of environmental innovation delivered on a Civils and Groundworks project at Brooksby College in Leicestershire.
With momentum building, Cawarden is poised to embrace new opportunities and initiatives in 2026.
