Role Overview
You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and the office-based team. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and successfully, which will result in positive outcomes for our clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- To comply with the Cawarden Policies, Procedures and Instructions
- Working with the Site Manager, supervise all operatives and sub-contractors on site
- Co-ordination of sub-contractors and the delivery/collection of materials
- Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure the demolition programme is met
- To ensure working methods are performed correctly
- Comply with the Site Manager’s responsibilities as laid down in the Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
- Complete the relevant documentation on a daily/weekly basis and encourage safe working practices on site
- Implement new ideas and methods
- Liaise with the office and senior management as required
- To uphold Cawarden’s company values and professional image.
These are illustrative duties and the post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the company to respond effectively to the requirements of the project.

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Studying for a degree in Construction Management or similar. Or, a relevant vocational college course such as Construction and the Built Environment.
- Ideally, you’ll hold a CSCS card (but not essential as we can provide training)
- Driving licence or access to good public transport routes across the East Midlands
- A passion for the built environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
