In the town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Cawarden embarked on a transformative project, partnering with a leading developer to spearhead the civils and groundworks requirements for a new housing development comprising 56 plots.
Our commitment to excellence was evident from the outset, as we undertook the meticulous installation of new roads and sewers, breathing life into the growing community. Integral to our scope were the S278 and S38 works, as well as the foundations for all 56 plots, and the sub-structure brick and blockwork up to DPC Level.
Navigating the complexities inherent in projects of this nature, our team encountered a series of underground challenges and unforeseen obstructions during the foundation phase. We therefore leveraged our expertise and collaborative ethos to swiftly address these obstacles, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline. Where feasible, we implemented revised foundation designs, seamlessly adapting to evolving circumstances without compromising on quality or efficiency.
As each plot reached fruition, it was seamlessly integrated into the client’s build programme, a testament to our team’s commitment to project synchronisation and progression. Through meticulous coordination with follow-on trades, we ensured a harmonious workflow, enabling a smooth transition from groundwork to superstructure.
Beyond bricks and mortar, the completion of this scheme heralds a new era of opportunity for the community, with a diverse range of Shared Ownership, Affordable Rent, and Rent-To-Buy properties set to enrich the local landscape.
At Cawarden, we don’t just demolish structures; we lay the foundations for vibrant communities to thrive!
